What the configurator does

The configurator lets you describe parts right in your browser: turned parts such as stepped or plain shafts and bushings. You immediately see a 3D preview, key figures and a draft drawing and request a quote from there. AGMT coordinates manufacturing through qualified partner shops.

What you enter

  • Part type and material
  • Shafts: sections with diameter, length, tolerance and roughness Ra
  • Features such as keyway (DIN 6885-1), retaining ring groove (DIN 471) and cross hole
  • Transitions with radius, undercut or chamfer, and the ends with face chamfer, centre hole or thread
  • Finish: certificate 3.1, dimensional report, surface, heat treatment, laser-marked part number and bead blasting
  • Quantity, optionally a requested date and notes

What you get

  • A 3D preview with key figures such as overall length and, once a material is selected, weight
  • A STEP file and a draft drawing as PDF once the part is complete
  • A short code that describes your part and makes follow-up questions easier
  • A part number you can use to reorder the part later

The generated drawing is a draft, not a release for production. We check dimensions and standard values with the partner shop before anything is made.

How the request works

  1. Describe the part: choose part type and material, then enter sections and features.
  2. Check: review the 3D preview, notes and draft drawing.
  3. Request: enter quantity and contact details and send the request.
  4. Quote: we review your request and get back to you with a quote.

Frequently asked questions

Does it cost anything to use the configurator?

No. The configurator, the downloads and the request are free of charge. A request is not yet an order.

Does AGMT manufacture the parts itself?

No. AGMT does not manufacture itself; we coordinate manufacturing through qualified partner shops.

Is the drawing from the configurator ready for production?

No. It is a draft. Dimensions and standard values are checked before production.

Which parts can I configure?

Currently shafts (stepped or plain) and bushings. For other parts, just send us an email or use the contact form.

Does the configurator show prices?

For selected parts the configurator can show an instant price (net, plus VAT and shipping); you can then order directly. Otherwise you receive a quote within 24 h after we have reviewed your request.

How do I reorder a part?

Enter the part number at the top of the configurator; it is shown on the drawing and the confirmation (and on the part if you chose “Laser-mark the part number”). The configuration is loaded and the price recalculated; then you order as usual.

What happens to my details?

We process them to answer your request. We only pass technical details of the part on to partner shops as far as needed for the quote and manufacturing. Details are in the privacy policy.
